Café de Paris, in London's Piccadilly, is one of the most famous entertainment venues in the world. With a glittering history spanning more than nine decades, Café de Paris has consistently played host to a wide variety of powerful & absorbing performers and guests, members of the aristocracy, eminent political figures, dazzling pop stars, captains of industry, superstars from the silver screen and even royalty.
Inspired by the Féeries of 19th century Paris, Cabaret des Distractions is a classic tale of love and temptation for a 21st century audience. Cabaret, musical theatre and circus break bread in the opulent surrounds of a 1920’s ballroom.
Filmed amongst the audience over two different performances. The low light conditions paired with frenetic movements of performers popping up from every corner of the large venue created a rewarding challenge for a single camera setup.
